On Monday, October 31, South Central AHEC hosted the 4th annual Global Health Day at UW-Madison for rural high school students. It was held in the Dejope Residence Hall from 8:30am-3:00pm.

November 06, 2015

South Central Wisconsin Area Health Education Centers collaborated with the University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health Institute, students in the Globe Med club and the Global Health certificate program to hold the third annual Global Public Health Training Workshop for high school students. The event took place on Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, and offered an opportunity for students to learn about global health and network with partnering institutions at the university.

March 08, 2014

On Saturday, March 8th, 17 students from 4 schools attended a half-day workshop that included presentations by the Global Health Institute Education Programs Associate Sweta Shrestha, MPH, and UW-Madison students pursuing Certificates in Global Health. The event was held by South Central Wisconsin AHEC (Area Health Education Center), the University of Wisconsin-Madison Global Health Institute and the student organization GlobeMed.
